These Terms of Service, which also serve as the End User License Agreement ("EULA"), govern your use of the SquadFuel app and services (the "Service"), operated by Riftco ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use SquadFuel. We collect your date of birth at sign-up to enforce this; accounts for anyone under 13 are not permitted. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you must have permission from a parent or guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. Age-aware defaults for users under 18 — including diary-sharing defaults and invite-only squads led by minors — are described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial wellness use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service.
You agree not to: break the law; harass, abuse, or harm others; post objectionable, infringing, or misleading content; impersonate others; attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or scrape or misuse other users' data.
Your content. You retain ownership of the content you post (text, photos, recipes, comments). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service.
Responsibility. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to share it.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content. There is no tolerance for content or behavior that is abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, illegal, or otherwise objectionable. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without notice.
Reporting and blocking. You can report content and block users in the app. We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users promptly, including removing content and ejecting users who post it.
When you join a squad, your food diary (everything you log) is shared with that squad's leaders by default, as disclosed at the moment you join and described in our Privacy Policy; you can turn this off for any squad at any time in the app under Profile → Privacy & sharing. Squad leaders provide general guidance only. You author and remain in control of your own plan and decisions; leaders do not write your plan for you. Blocking another member hides posts and comments between you but does not change squad membership or diary sharing.
SquadFuel provides general wellness and nutrition information and tools. It does not provide medical, clinical, or professional dietary advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. Do not disregard or delay professional advice because of anything in the Service. If you have a medical condition or take medication, consult your healthcare provider before changing your nutrition.
The Service is free to use. There are no paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases today. If we introduce any, we will sell them through Apple In-App Purchase and disclose the pricing and renewal terms before you are charged.
Any giveaways, contests, or promotions are governed by their own official rules and applicable law. Apple is not a sponsor of or involved in any promotion. Participation may be void where prohibited.
The SquadFuel monthly prize draw is governed by its Official Rules. In summary: no purchase is necessary and none is possible; entry requires opting in within the app and is never automatic; and entry is open only to residents of the forty-eight contiguous United States and the District of Columbia.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
This EULA is concluded between you and Riftco only, and not with Apple. Riftco, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Service and its content. You acknowledge that:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
